The fantasy thriller series Sweet Home is back with season 2. Sweet Home 2 comes three years from the airing of the first season in 2020. The series still stars Song Kang, Lee Jin-uk, Lee Si-young, and Go Min-si.

The residents are now scattered, especially Hyun-su (Song Kang) because he was brought by Jung Eui-myeong who now controls the body of Pyeon Sang-wook (Lee Jin-uk). Most of the other residents are in the security camp.

Here is the synopsis of Sweet Home 2.
Sweet Home 2 tells the story of the Green Home residents who managed to survive after Cha Hyun-su's (Song Kang) fierce battle against Jung Ui-myeong (Kim Sung-cheol). Most of them got on a truck with Seo Yi-kyung (Lee Si-young).

Meanwhile, the injured and unconscious Cha Hyun-su was captured by soldiers. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself saved by Sang-wook (Lee Jin-uk).

From the start, Hyun-su immediately realized Sang-wook was not the person he used to be. Jung Eui-myeong stays alive by taking over Sang-wook's body.

This makes conflict inevitable. Hyun-su was incensed because he felt Eui-myeong killed Sang-wook. Meanwhile, Eui-myeong actually had no intention of killing Hyun-su from the beginning.

However, Eui-myeong wasn't the only one after Hyun-su. The military also wanted Hyun-su because he was considered a special infected person, not a monster but not human either.

Special infected people are believed to be a vaccine for the monster virus that spread and killed so many humans. So, the military tried to capture him for further research.

Meanwhile, Seo Yi-kyung (Lee Si-young) actually tried to follow Hyun-su and Jung Eui-myeong through the soldier's radio. However, she failed due to a military attack.

Hyun-su ends up at the Bamseom Emergency Management Bureau, a unit dedicated to dealing with monsters.

He came with the intention of ending the monster crisis that claimed so many lives. Hyun-su gives himself up as a research and test subject.

However, Eui-myeong who is now in Sang-wook's body wants to go to Bamseom to collect more special infected people like them, or what Eui-myeong calls neohumans.

Separately, the other Green Home survivors are under the supervision of the Crow Platoon which specifically deals with monsters.

The Crow Platoon works to ensure the survivors in the camp, but everyone is overwhelmed by the fear that monsters can attack anyone, including the fear that anyone can turn into a monster.

As a result, humanity seems to be lost in the camp. Anyone who shows symptoms, such as severe nosebleeds, is immediately eradicated.

The monsters they face are now more complex, all divided into three categories; Green, Yellow, and Red depending on aggression.

There are also groups of monsters born from the same desire, as well as specially infected people who feel superior to other monsters and humans.

However, the camp does not provide complete safety for the survivors, especially Lee Eun-yu (Go Min-si). Since leaving the crumbling Green Home, she has been determined to find Lee Eun-hyeok (Lee Do-hyun).

A number of events led her to believe Lee Eun-hyeok was still alive and saved her from several dangerous events. However, the figure always avoids every time like almost meeting.

Not only that, in the camp, people even labeled Lee Eun-yu as a witch and avoided her because they were sure she was the killer of someone there. However, that doesn't deter her and she remains focused on finding Lee Eun-hyeok.

A pregnant Seo Yi-kyung doesn't stay in the camp, as she tries to follow Hyun-su to Bamseom to find her husband, Sang-won. There, she discovers shocking facts from the Bamseom Emergency Management Bureau.

Her mind and heart were torn as her pregnancy grew and she gave birth to her child. The birth made her happy because she loved the child, but also filled with fear.

She has to be busy protecting others from her child, rather than protecting her child from others.

In the midst of it all, a vaccine development project using specially infected people came to light. Crow Platoon is suddenly disbanded, causing a crisis at the safety camp.

Sweet Home season 2 has eight episodes airing on Netflix December 1.
